Bought these for my family, especially my grandkids who are away at college. I feel better knowing they have these in their cars, “just in case”.

My husband and I each have this in our cars. Giving these to our grandchildren for them to keep in their cars. We feel more at ease and much safer knowing this is handy, if God forbid, needed in an emergency.

Spam attack!

We had an incident on my road where this would have been invaluable. The Xscape goes in your cigar-lighter socket and gives two USB charger ports. But in an accident, it can slice a stuck seatbelt or shatter a jammed window. Last year near my house I heard a "skiiid-cruunch....", then a "hon-hon-honnnkk". A car had gone off the road, well into the woods, upside-down. The folks inside were hanging by their seatbelts, unable to release the latches, or really think clearly. I got a door open but could not release the seatbelt under stain. Fortunately another passerby had a knife. However if nobody had come along to help this nice elderly couple get on their feet the outcome might have been much worse. The Xscape sits snugly in the dashboard or console power outlet. You always know where it is. It is unlikely to go flying in an accident. When the unthinkable happens, and you realize you are alive but trapped, reach for the cigar-lighter hole. The side-hook has a protected and wicked sharp blade which easily slices belt webbing. The endcap has a recessed hard-steel spike to give the point-impact which will shatter modern auto-glass. It is compact and seems exceptionally sturdy. Put one in every car. Have every adult and older child review the maker's videos on this page because there is a knack to shattering a window quickly and safely. And yes, it charges my cellphone.

Great Idea Great idea to make a charger the actual safety device. I have had a seat belt cutter and glass breaking device in my glove compartment for years but probably would not be able to reach them in an emergency. This was a great idea to have the charger and safety items within reach. Oh, and it chargers fine too!

Fast Charge Works great, charges fast. Love that is has the safety features to break glass and cut the seatbelt.

Safety I bought this for everyone in my family and hope we never have to use it, but I love the security of knowing it is there in case of an emergency. My husband was worried about it charging just as fast as his beloved charger he already had and it has exceeded his expectations. If you have a few minutes in the car, it will fully charge with no problem. He is happy and I am happy knowing everyone has this device within arms reach.

Fast charging dream!!! I got the Xscape because I was sick and tired of the cheap cigarette lighter chargers stop working after a month. I've had this item for over a month now and it still is working fantastically. The Xscape charges my phone quickly and I have an iPhone 7 plus. Within a 14 min car ride my phone jumped from 13% to 38% in the 2.4v port. The blade and safety hammer are a nice feature to have in a just in case emergency. Being prepared for any situation is a must for me and I like knowing that this device is within arms reach in case something happens and I need an "escape". Will definitely be buying for the holidays as a great stocking stuffer.
